Back Button For Roller?

I know this has probably been suggested many many times before, but im going to suggest it again lol.

I think most of us have done this... rolling for 3 hours, determined to get those stats you want, you start clicking the reroll button at a quickened pace because you've been at it for so long, and BAM... as soon as you see the red it's gone, because your tired lil clicking finger was slow to react from the 3 hours before. Now you've got a sore stiff finger and well you know.

It's so hard to roll anything now, and takes so many hours.. I think i speak for more than just myself when i say

PLEEEEASE add a back button!!!!  Even if it only remembers the last 2 sets of stats you've rolled, it would be GREATLY appreciated.  *begs* Cry Kiss Kiss

How far back would this back button be able to go? Because if it could just keep going back you could find stats that you like... then keep going to see if you could get something better. And if not finding anything better, just click back until you get back to the ones that you liked before.
Or people could just click the button for hours not paying attention... then flip back through all of them and pick out if there were any good rolls.

Good idea. Shouldn't be able to go back more than once, otherwise it's a bit silly.

Ah. I didn't see that. I'm a bit slow..
Yeah I think it would be awesome if it only went back 1-2 rolls.

Just being able to remember 2 rolls back would be fine. Anything more would be making it too easy. It's just extremely discouraging to roll over things sometimes. I've sat at the roller for 7 hours or more at a time and rolled right over the crit i was trying to get just from a stiff finger lol. I know the button was modified to grey out untill the stats load but when you have a speedy connection it doesn't make much of a difference. If your a frequent roller, im sure you know what i mean lol..

yeah and can we go back in time to when that chest containing Boots of haste was put ingame . . . because I now know how to kill it . . .

I don't agree with this . . . if people are careless to roll past stats then it's their own fault imo  Undecided

bad comparison..the boots of haste were a poorly thought out item that took almost no effort at all to get. Rolling on the other hand can take days of effort. And trust me I dont roll over good stats because i don't give a crud (would defeat the purpose of clicking reroll for 14 hours) i roll over them because my entire right hand gets worn out.
If you truely feel this is a horrible idea then you obviously have no clue how frustrating the situation really is. I don't believe this would hurt the roller one bit, after all if you spend that long rolling something you deserve to keep it.

hmmm...I like the easy option of knowing you've got a back button,

but wouldn't that make rolling the more attractive option compared to saving and buying, with the result of more 5/6 stat crits out there dramatically affecting the nm economy?

ok good point . . . I have always been careful when rolling not to roll past stats . . . maybe a back button wouldn't hurt and there is the odd time when you lag out and double click the roller by accident

Im going to agree with the masses here... I dont even see why it hasn't been added yet. Rolling good crits is a pain in the ass whether you have a roll back button or not.. why not make everyone a lil happier and put it in!   Kiss   Shocked

Hey lets make the game even more easier!!!!!!!!!!!...  Undecided

If you roll past a good set of stats its your own fault. If you had been rolling carefully, wanting to get desired stats, you wouldn't have rolled over it. Take your time and look for the stats you want. It's better to roll slower and get the stats you want w/o risking a 'roll-over' than to click like mad and go past 3-4 of them.

I myself have clicked that re-roll button one too many times at points, but its not meant to be easy to roll. It's meant to be luck! (along with a bit of patience...)

EDIT: I wouldn't mind the idea... but it just makes it too effortless imo...

i dont see why anyone disagrees with this. Its not as if you are cheating, you rolled the stats fair and square, i see no reason you couldnt go back a few if you are a lil too slow to stop the first time. Im tired of hearing people say "take your time"... i can click as fast as i can for 4 hours and not see a 5 stat. why make it so difficult to roll a character thats gonna take the next 14 days of actual playing time to reach arch. gimme a break
