Certain drops grow old and tired, for example, Spider Staff, and then there are items that are not entirely useful for some, for example, Boots of Time, I've even had problems selling halbers, crystal rings and spider gauntlets. What I'm suggesting, is a weapons trader store, who will give you a set price, for items that you simply cannot manage to sell. This price could/should be set to give less money to the player than would be expected from another player to player trade, but is a good way to sell it fast if you need cash quick. No, you would not be able to buy items off the trader, only sell to him.
Anyway, just an idea.

i think thats a good idea...it might also cause some items to have fewer in game. i.e. people could sell lots of spider staffs to the weapon trader and maybe then fewer in game would cause them the be sellable again?

*Its different from a player, because someone had to get it from the boss in the first place to sell to you*

No way are they going to be bought in the shop as the post above this says, it defeats the object of killing bosses and I don't see the need to sell it in shops because they are meant to be "rare" items and I know that they aren't so rare after a while but I just don't think it makes sense to be able to sell a valiable item like that.

I don't see any problems with this, or with being able to buy it back (at an increased price obviously) maybe you could pay 25% more than they sold for? Would make it cheaper to kill the boss yourself, or buy the item.
Also, if its a 'rare' item, wouldn't the shop owner be extremely interested in buying?
I'm all up for this idea.

au contrare my dear tree, people fall over each other to buy valuable items. Ebay is a prime example of that.
I still think it would be a good idea. Whilst I'm not 100% keen on being able to actually buy the drops back from the shop, an inflation price of 25% could be an interesting idea to toss around should this whole concept be considered.
I can't really see a problem with there being more cash in Nightmist, could you provide examples of how this may be a problem?

You sell to the shop and the item simply disappears from the face of the game. If so Thats a great idea, AS it causes the numbers of the items to lower if people simply just want to sell it. This means that there will be less questies in the game, and the prices of them will possibly go up... or down. It could go either way.
