We all know that things are a little dull, seeing all the people with the same weapons/armor. Instead of adding more weapons though I just thought maybe there should be effects put onto boss drops, a small chance for each effect, more often then not you'd get a normal weapon. I was thinking of a few different effects, weapons could have a slight chance of causing them, maybe add resistances to armor drops? Stun - small chance of taking one active stam from person being attacked OR adds 3 seconds to stam recharge time when afflicted. Slightly Poisionous - small chance of causing poison that causes 10-20 points of damage. Highly Poisonous - small chance of causing poison that causes 20-40 points of damage. Paralysis - small chance of afflicting paralysis, while paralyzed you cannot move from the square for 10 seconds but can attack and do everything else like normal. Devastating - small chance of ignoring armor. Also, you could have bad effects as well Rusted - Deals half damage to target. Heavy - Takes Dexterity down by 1 point. I don't know if this is a good idea or not I just thought it would be one of the less obvious ways to solve the equipment problem. Could be hard to code, I'm not sure about any of that...I'd like to know your thoughts on it, and perhaps ideas on other effects if you have them. Thanks

I like the idea of bosses dropping random 'enchanted' items, makes it more interesting than buying them at a shop. I'm all up for this idea

What I think would be really cool is greater, and minor poison potions. You know, that you use on your weapon, and the next time you attack, it has added poison on *Only for one attack though*
