Clan Chairman abilities.

Being it i am not a chairman/chairwoman of a clan, but being a good friend with a chairman/chairwoman or two, i think Chaiman/chairwoman should have certain abilities. (if this has been brought up before, please forgive me)
 
For instance:
 
Clan Mute:
A Chairman/Chairwoman has the ability to mute a clan member in clan chat for a certain time, or until they feel like unmuting him.  
The command could be /clan mute {character}
Or, if you were going to do a time set /clan mute {character} 1 minute

 
Clan Ban:
A Chairman/Chairwoman has the ability to ban a certain character from the clan for 1 day, during the time of being banned, the character cannot join the clan. After the 1 day is up, the character will be automatically back into the clan with the same tag, but if the character was a leader or founder, he/she will not have the same position when brought into the clan. The ban will only last 1 day.
The command could be /clan ban {character}

 
Clan Comment:
A Chairman/Chairwoman could give the character a comment about how he/she is in clans, why he/she was booted. The character could have 2 comments by two diffrent chairman/chairwoman if there is something further that they have done in diffrent clans.
The command could be, /clan comment {character} (comment here)
or if you would like to add to the clan comment /clan comment add {character} (comment here)

This all seems like ways to punish bad people in your clan.  What's wrong with /clan remove [person].  I wouldn't want a problematic person in my clan anyway.

Then why does staff have the Day Ban command, or the mute command? Why not just permanently ban them?

more support required for clan mute, other suggestions i don't think are needed, as stotic said, /clan remove anyone that is that bad. to answer other replies, /dayban is different because the next one up from dayban is a pcban, which is reserved for big issues.

That allows the player to shut up when he wants to. As for the /clan mute it can allow the chairman to shut the player up when he gets annoying. The player if he is muted in clan chat, can see what clan members are saying.

On Topic: Nice ideas.. now, would the muting members.. be like a cc off type of deal.. where only the person turning it off.. can no longer see it..?! Or is it to where all the members aren't seeing the person muted rambling about..?!

how about also /clan ignore (name) if you want to ignore certain people in clan chat who are being... um... difficult? (not just for the chairman/woman btw... this command would be for everyone in clan)

I think its stupid, if u dont like ppl talking in ur clan u shouldnt invite them. If someone would mute me, then theres no need for me being in the clan anymore, cuz its all about the talk.

It's not about not liking them to talk, it's about when those certain people get to the point where they get annoying, and need to muted for a while.
