I'll keep it short . . .

When dueling multiple crits full of mana/pots in sparring arenas
after the duel the room can be a mess and it can be very laggy getting your pots/mana back . . .

Would it be possible to code it so in sparring arenas you dont drop items

Then again, some people may want dropping items to occur.

Use another room for it then. There's no reason why people would want to drop in the sparring arena but not the pub.

Yeah thats the point stotic. You shouldnt drop items in a sparring arena. Especially since if your SPARRING with someone you usually are not intent on KILLING the other person.

So really when your in a sparring arena you DONT die. Or at least any deaths in a sparring arena shouldnt be added to the character, as well as other side effects of death *Dropping items, and exp loss* are non-existent

Dropping of items has been a part of sparring arena's so some people may have grown attached to the system.   I don't believe character deaths are totaled from arena's anymore.

me and the girl I share with had a 5 alt duel in our sparring arena and our crits are always full of pots/mana and it ended up about 50 mana crystals being on the square after the duel. . .

Just taking one crit into the arena completely lagged me out . . .

Maybe if/when the look around description for items on the floor is changed it will be a lot easier to clean a sparring arena up  Grin
