Arena Deaths

With the birth of the multi-coloured death messages and the confusion in large clans over what death is a normal death and what death is an arena death. I was thinking that there could be something added, maybe a symbol, or a colour or something that shows when a death is an out of town death... and what is an arena death. Example.. xxxxxx was cut down by xxxxxx 's mighty Blade of Time! (Out of town death) xxxxxx was cut down by xxxxxx 's mighty Blade of Time! (Out of town kill) (A) xxxxxx was cut down by xxxxxx 's mighty Blade of Time! (Arena death) (A) xxxxxx was cut down by xxxxxx 's mighty Blade of Time! (Arena kill) With this simple addition you would know if someone died in a mosh arena, triplex arena, dueling arena or clan arena. The symbol can be anything really, or it could be in a different colour. Tell me what you think.

Personally, I have a dislike for the Christmas colors used for deaths....but this isn't what this suggestion is about. Using a different color would probably be a good way of dealing with this. Not a bad idea Archie.

I find this idea to be a very good idea, as it is very confusing as it is right now. On the note of the colours, i don't think they could be Red and Green (as you stated they could be changed) as it would be confusing to determine if it was an "out of town death" or a "arena death." For a color Example (being it is needed or not) Pandlex was cut down by Tuna Helper's mighty Fork! (Arena Kill) Tuna Helper was cut down by Pandilex's mighty Fork! (Arena Death) It could be a conveinent colour, and very distinctive.

I don't even see why we need colours.. I think that: xxxxxx was cut down by xxxxxx 's mighty Blade of Time! (clannie pking) green is your clannie, and red is your enemy, would make it much easier to tell imo.

just curious but isnt red and gree the two colours colour blind people struggle with anyway?? i would like to see less colour and just the person in your clan a colour (or nopk list etc) and the others another colour so you can tell the difference between your clanny etc mate etc being killed and the one killing someone, maybe put a location thing in for people on clan list?? or something......... xxxxxxxxxxx

The problem is that it goes from red to green to red to green (for example) I dont really see a need for any colouring, but Alex's idea makes it a little less

The reason there are colours, is to make it stand out. IE the mosh. They are yellow green and red, it stands out so you can see, so that it is something totally diffrent from what you normally see. This is for, when a clan member dies and you want to help kill whomever was killing you clan member. If it is a line tradition blueish/gray colours, and just a green name and red name comes up, you won't notice it. Colours are needed in the game, everything can't be the same, bland blueish/gray colours. ~Issy

Yes, but you only need to have the name coloured, not the whole text.

If all the context wasn't color, it wouldn't stand out, wouldn't be as noticeable.
