can we maybe try a chat with clan allys? liek my clan is allyed with broken. and i love to talk to maha and lich. but everyone hears friend chat whos on ourlist. and Tev has pked someone by listing to me talking on friend. i understand that there is pages. but you miss them when traveling causethe color of page talk is the same as descrips of everything. so anyway. an ally chat that you can talk to all your allied clans or maybe just one. by useing maybe * first??
i hope this made some sense.

I totally love the idea of ally chat. Maybe even make it similar to clan chat where you can see who got pk'd too. That way we would actually be able to work as an alliance instead of just not being able to pk each other. Of course it would also need the option of being turned off, so you won't get scrolled with all kinds of chats while training.

edit: let's say you have 5 clans on ally list and vice versa (6 including your clan) now there are like 15 players on from eacht clan. (90 players) if only 5 of each clan use ally chat your screen will be flooded with 30 ppl using ally chat

I dont see a point on why nightmist needs this, when there is all ready 3 mabey more ways to talk ( clan chat, pages, and friend chat). If you are talking on with pages there and trying to travel there is a handy command which is [/page history] that shows you your last nine pages. And there is allways other means of talking to your buddys outside of nightmist such as Aim or Yahoo or MSN IMs.

Right now, in order to work as an alliance you have to either page individual members of an allied clan, or add them all to your friend list. Ally chat would actually give you the opportunity to plan certain things with your allies without paging or friend chatting to one member, that member then forwarding to their clannies and so on.
As I mentioned before, right now the only advantage to being allies is to not be able to pk each other, but a real alliance also means to stick up for each other. An ally chat that is set up like clan chat (with messages of allies getting pk'd or pking) would improve alliances in that aspect. You wouldn't have to check if members of your allied clan are online to get their support, because they would see what's happening. Those who don't wish to see it, could just turn it off.

In the event this isn`t put into the game you might try enemy chat. I started using it with close friends. The 2 that are on my enemy list are also on each others so it's like our own lil chat room.

If they decide to give us ally chat, it is your option to have it on or off. Just because you don't wish to use it, doesn't mean other people won't.

hmm...but seriously....this is a tricky one.
maybe there would be some command that allows u to see and talk with ur allys clan chat, rather than having the same chat with all of the allys....like ally member would be a quest in the clan chat.

I'll take that chance...lol...
I agree that if regular chatting friend to friend is done on ally chat it would flood quite a bit, but if people keep personal convos to a minimum and actually use it for ally business, it would be an advantage to the game.
