hmm ever got the idea that it was just a suggestion? maybe it could be upped on some items and lowered on some others. maybe you get lucky with your 250k and get an amulet of hermes or something.

They should give like +1 wiz and mana leech
Cost about 100-200k? 200k is definate item, 150k is 50%
and lower than that is 25% and goes down.
