how often has this been suggested before? not sure about the number but it's ALOT and i think most players agree that IF there is the need for a new class necros would be a good choice, yet i personally don't c the need for a new class to be put in any time soon.

Maybe you should elaborate on Necromancers. Not all of us played pre-reset, so a good description of them would be nice. Plus you can't just say "hey, put Necromancers back in" without doing some work on it, heh.

Necromancers pre reset were tacky, as were Elementals... as were barbarians, god they were ghey... as were paladins being unbeatable unless u were a barb... Wow, the reset kick azz...

IF you would give more information on how the stats and the races would be.
 
For instance;
Necromancer,
Can be only played with a Human character. Receives 9 HP maximum per level. Receives 7 as the minimum.
Spells,
Every spell would be acquired by purchasing them in the designate guild. At level 10, the Necromancer can purchase a spell called Retaliation.
Retaliation: If casted, when struck by an opponent, inflicts Poison onto the attacker, retaliating the previous attack. Poison would only hurt 9-12 HP per damage. This spell will also work on Creatures.  
At level 15, the Necromancer could purchase a spell called Army of the Dead.  
Army of the Dead,
When casting this spell, the Necromancer could 'tame' an army of 'Un-Dead' monsters. I.E. Skeletons, Demonic Soldiers, but whenever the Necromancer would 'tame' the un-dead creatures, the un-dead creatures become half as strong. Only hitting for half of what they did before. Whenevevr the Army struck a monster, the Necromancer gets half the Experience of what they would get if they were fighting. The army of course could die, so it wouldn't be "auto-training."  Wink And the army can not exceed 3 monsters.
At level 20, the Necromancer could purchase a spell called Iron Merc.
Iron Merc
A mercenary of the Necromancer, has half of the HP the Necromancer has. The Mercenary would gain HP as the Necromancer did, and attacks for 20-25 per hit. Much like the Army of the Dead, the necromancer gets half the experience the necromancer would get if he attacked it normally. The mercenary can of course die. And only 1 mercenary can be summoned per necromancer.
At level 25, the Necromancer could purchase a spell called Bone spear.
Bone Spear
Similar to the Mages Beam. This one sends a bone spear into the monster, penetrating it for 50-60HP.  
At level 28, the Necromancer could purchase a spell called Poison Blast.
Poison Blast
When this spell is casted, it poisons all Creatures, Enemies and Allies in the square. The poison would damage the Character/creature for 20-25 per damage.
Armor
Armor being very basic, could wear any kind of Robe. and gloves and boots, Amulets, rings and gauntlets.
Weapons
A necromancer can use a Staff, or dagger of anykind. But Necro's will only be 'melee' characters until lvl 25, and then they use spells. Unless your weird or something.
 
Of course, you would need to figure out a damage ratio, and a mana usage ratio.
But there you go, a general Idea.
