He is talking about the fact that people like my fighter look like some cheap BDSM flick, wearing all spiked armor while the bottom part keeps catching a draft, and my poor zerker is freezing not only her rear off...lol Edit: In case Pandilex yet again wants to state that berserkers were naked, as HIS history book teaches him, I would like to point our beforehand, that berserkers received their name from the CLOTHING they wore... made from bearskin (ber=bear, serkr=skin).

I perhaps it was because they fought in a 'beserk' manner?...

The term fighting in a berserk manner comes from their name, which, as stated above was given to them because of their clothing...lol.

I can tell you in all honesty, I don't....lol Comes with being a stay home mom that works from home. The only time I leave the house is to buy groceries, chase after my dogs when they run off and sing karaoke on Wednesday nights.

| Sorry, but it's a well known fact that 'bear' is 'bjorn' and hence is a very common name in the parts of the world where berserkers originated. Ber means Bare (naked).

Where do you keep getting that info Pandilex? Just show me ONE source where it says that, because it's untrue. I can show you at least 10 sources to prove where the word berserker derives from, and it is ber (old norse for bear) and serkr (old norse for coat/skin). Berserkers were given their name BECAUSE of the bearskin they wore for clothes. Stating I am wrong constantly when I have proof and you don't doesn't make you look very professional. I know my history, took it as a major a long long time ago.

Yet you're doing the same? Further research indicates multiple possible theories, yours and mine included. However, I was taught what I have said above.

I am not doing the same... I am showing you the proof. One of the links provided by Insomnia points directly to a definition and explanation of the word berserker and it's origins in Webster's dictionary, which is commonly known to contain researched and proven info. I have yet to see a source of the same reliability as Webster's that proves your point.

| No offense taken, since it is the truth that I barely leave the house...lol Some people consider me a source of extensive knowledge for a lot of useless info, could have something to do with me easily memorizing things and fighting boredom by studying more and more stuff. Helped a lot during my school years though.

geez pandi.. give the dog a bone, let em eat cake, and just give the friggin zerkers some clothes! dont just try to argue it cuz u dont feel like makin bearskins as items! even if they dont do anything, there are so many bears in Nightmist, it would only make sense lol. Why wouldnt a zerker wear bearskins, but instead just to opt to run around in the buff? i know i would skin a bear if i was nakie!

It makes sense that they have so much hitpoints if they do not have clothes, this would cause, eventually, to an adaptation making skin rough and the need for clothes destroyed.

Just a thought, since Berserkers have no clothes, they would be less resistant to disease and poison.
