Druids
« on: 02/20/03 at 13:29:05 »

I've been playing Nightmist for awhile, trained every class to arch except for druids,(and newly incorporated Beserker) which i am working on at the moment. Each class i've done was trained over a small amount of game time, having an area to suit the classes abilities made gaining experience easier to stay motivated. However, i am finding regardless of the area used to train my Druid there is no advantage to help gain experience more efficiently. The time spent in training a druid would be double to triple in comparison of a Fighter or Cleric. I saw JLH make a comment on on Pandilex's post about people complaining that Druids were too strong, yet the effort put in to training a druid is much more tedious. I suggest making Druids much stronger, keeping the level of difficulty hard to train a druid. Effort should produce better results, maybe possibly a better weapon besides the Morning Star.

At least make it to where you, your NOPK'd and your party (Druids, that is) can escape grasping vines.

I trained my first druid from levels 22-26 with a fighter that was freshly rolled. Needless to say in the time it took to hit 26, the fighter was lvl 28 lol.

I am training a new druid now. Sold Leafstorm. This druid (Norinth) will never be sold. At least not till I quit Nightmist. And I will not quit anytime soon.

Druids are quite hard to train, but we must wait for the next update (druid update) to see whats good and what isnt about it.

I was looking through old post and I came across this one and I just wanted to make a few comments. I trained a druid from 1 to lvl 28 and I didn't have any trouble training him at all. infact I think that training a druid is easier than train rangers. if trained correctedly.

This was before the druid update, therefore you can't compare training now with training then.
