but go south of nightmist, kil lsome snakes or if you are a cleric/pacifist heal skeletons.
then go on to killing bears in the forest north of nm.

Ask people in game about the Desecrated Church, with a Paladin you should be able to reach at least level 10 in a matter of an hour or two, then it's best to train healing in Barracks or Necro tower, and then when you get to around level 22 I'd say go hit things as your main EXP earner.. yeah i agree there lol i allways start killing ebars the first thing i do  gets my crits to lvl 10 in less then 45 minutes

dying gives you a full mp bar too... very handy for healers
just heal skellys until you die, then go back and heal more
dying is quite beneficial up to about lev 15

Note: If you see any naked male pally running around nighmist...that's me.
oh and..if you're high enough, check out the necro tower...it's a nice place to level (with the level restriction and all, there are almost no pkers there -- or even other normal players for that matter. Can't remember the last time I see some player there...except the fight at the vinewhip troll)
