Why is this stat only used for mages? Shouldn`t all magic users be some what intellegent? When you pick up a new weapon shouldn`t intel be required to learn how to use it? I mean how many folks can pick up a Halberd and just go out cracjing heads with it right outta the box.... I'd like to see this stat used for more classes. Most of all the magic users.

This is a guess based on other games ive played, but maybe intel will be the main stat for something to do with the attribute points when they come out.... it seems strange ATM how mages have 6 stats yet all the other classes only have 5... and even saying that didnt someone say, 21 int instead of 11 is only the difference between a 70 point beam and a 75

Int shouldn't be used for other classes, just mages. Unless we get to re roll/give exp so it doesn't make good crits crap.

i agree with drizzt. it shouldn't be changed cuz it would **** up our current crits with bad int but good other stats. although it's strange int is only used by mages.

Yes I also agree that intelligence not having anything to do with all but one class, the mage, is a tad odd considering some skills should require at least a degree of intelligence. There are possible explanations for all class though. Fighter- All his skill is based off inborn talent, not book reading and strategizing. Ranger- Draws all of his power from nature, and his keen senses, not his intellect. Mage- For this class knowledge is power, without it they would be flimsy fighters. Druid- Same as a ranger. Cleric- Although spell casting class it obtains it’s spells from it’s chosen deity, therefore their intellect wouldn’t be necessary. Berserkers- It just smashes things this class obviously does not rely on intelligence to win battles. Thief- Although some actions they may take appear to need intelligence, all of what they know comes from natural flexibility, and quick reflexes. Paladin- His/her powers derive from pure goodness, not his ability to solve complex problems. So this might be the explanation for why classes do not need intelligence, or it could be completely different reason, who know? Only JLH and Pandilex would know the answer to this, so why don’t we see if we get a response from them first, eh? As for intelligence becoming necessary for all classes I would not like it myself, although it really isn’t my decision, personally it would suck for me because some of my character has low intelligence because they did not need it in the past.
