A New NightMist Breed

In the world of NightMist where we had once seen endless counts of clan wars under Resthaven, honorable clans such as "BoD & Ns" fighting with dignity in battles of real skill, and where you would actually defend and die for your fellow clan members has now begun to vanish as a new doctorine of lies and deception takes the stage. The luster and joy of playing fairly and with honor has turned to nothing but a past memory and a lost hope, now you're forced to deal with endless acts of betrayal, lies, and double crossing, and it comes as a normality.
As we have seen the best empires in the real world rise to glory and then collapse we have also seen the cowardly attempts to prevail the same way in the NightMist world. I have witnessed firsthand this same ordeal. What had once been a clan that had stood for nothing less than Friendship Loyalty Trust Dignity and Honor has now turned into nomore than a pack of vicious power and money hungry wolves that would stop at nothing to stay in power and would do everything and anything in their power to stay at the top including to go as far as to betray eachother.
Seemingly along the way, they somehow had morphed from the honorable clan that they strived to be into the very thing that they hated, despised and had vowed to destroy. They became the beast they feared and loathed and embraced their new ways of survival without even knowing or caring. I question what is more important to people who play this game anymore, is it survival of the fittest, and keeping your honor? or is it all about getting to the top no matter how many people you have to step on or cheat and deceive to get there?

Paul and Heather left TR because they felt betrayed. Betrayed because rumor had it Jen was quiting and they felt that they as friends should have been informed before it was publically announced. As it turns out it was a huge misunderstanding. Jen had announced in clan chat that when her lover arrives in the sunshine state that she would be taking a break.
Now nothing in NM annoys me more then exclannies going on the forum and talken smack about thier previous clan. More so in this cause concidering they left because they misunderstood what was being said.
You talk about being loyal but yet you are the one who left the clan. We are still here and loyal to the cause. You talk about respect but yet you are the one who creates threads disrepecting the very clan that made you. You talk about friendship but yet you are the one who turned a deaf ear when we as a clan tried to reach out and resolve the issue.
New members have come and gone in TR. One thing I can say without a single doubt in my mind is that it isn`t the members who have changed in TR. It is the exmembers who now have to look in from the outside that have changed.

Matt this post is about an ex TR member proclaiming to be better then the ones who made him. Better in honor, loyalty, etc... If you want to turn this into something it isn`t and talk about clan drama I can create a thread titled, "Can I join TR" and post each time on of your clannies asks to join. Please clean your house before ya talk about mine...

Logic would tell me, even if someone was playing a joke, being sarcastic or what have you, that they would see you're taking it seriously, and being it was on nightmist, Paul and I reacted by leaving the clan, now wouldn't some common sense tell you, that obviously we didn't see the humor, and were led to believe that it was true? Especially seeing as neither Jen, nor her ''lover'', said ''hey!!! we were just playing, now don't go disbanding!!!'' or, even after we had completely disbanded, and they had recieved our memo as to why we were leaving, neither of them said a word. They let us go on to believe that it was true.
Then Jim you tell us that it was a rumor, so then we feel that we were lied to, and we felt even worse. Still, then after no word from Jen, or Chris that it was a rumor. All we had to go on was the fact that we asked them, and they said yes, which now we see it as they were lying to us. Then we're faced with the fact that, they knew why we were leaving, they knew what they told us was a joke/rumor/lie/whatever and they let us leave and let us continue to believe it. So why go back? Why return to TR after that?
Obviously they didn't care, otherwise they, meaning Jen and Chris, would not have let it go that far, or would have atleast said something. And being as they didn't just shows they could care less, which adds to the disappointment.
But I'm sure most of you will just sit there and tell me I'm wrong, and I'm the bad guy here, and that you see absolutely nothing wrong with that picture, it was all me and Paul being wrong ... right?
Sorry if I feel subjective to say no on that one.

You shouldnt leave a clan because me and jenny quit. It's clan, other people considered you two friends also. Don't take this next comment the wrong way like i want you to or anything, just making a point. If the reason of you leaving clan because u thought me and jenny were going to quit, then why didnt you just quit? Why move to another clan. Reason i didnt page you or ask you what's going on was because i knew why you left, and i didnt think it was a valid reason.

Where in my post have I proclaiming to be anything?

But we didn't go back because you nor Jen asked us or cared why we left. If you think it was such a non-valid reason for leaving why didn't/couldn't you have even said that to us? Not like we were going to leave we had already left, so what could have come from it that would have been so bad?
Atleast we told you why we were leaving, and if you didn't understand it, or think it was a good reason you could have said something, but you didn't and that said a lot more than you think. Sometimes silence speaks in large volumes.

Well there's another point, over half of the clan, Paul and I don't know. It's all new people. Our friends from the clan, who asked us why we left, and cared why we left knew we had reasons and accepted it, wished us luck, and continued being our friends.

Everyone does things for thier own reasons and or rational. Who cares who left what, When and for what reasons. They made a choice. Those that care stick true to thier friends no matter thier clan. It's sad all the he said she said, the attacking others goes from the game to the forum. Where simple discussion or post of thoughts is ragged upon, the past brought up and or made into something to insult the person in question that started the post.
As Chris so eloquently put it with the "freedom of speach err speech" post. To each thier own. Paulie was getting something he felt needed off his chest.
