i took the RoK background and decided to use it for a nightmist skin. pretty funny if you think about it. but here it is so far. i just need to adjust the rest of the stuff now..
EDIT: Image removed, but will be placed on the SORC site at a further date

This has been done before a long long time ago, but it was never released into the public for obvious reasons.. Remember the artwork is probably copyrighted, so be careful you or I don't get into trouble.

i dont see why the skin cant be used by people. so long as its not available for download from the game's skin menu, or from the nightmist website, i dont see why it cant be used. Technically speaking im not really stealing the artwork, its not an official skin for nightmist. However, the skin wont be publically released, but i will send it to people if they want to use it.

as you can see there is no "gold in bank". it doesnt fit, so ill be adding that underneath the player list (along with anything else that doesnt fit according to the RoK layout)

the top middle bit (empty), is used for those pictures for places. well im gunna use that for the inventory and equipped items, otherwise ill have nowhere to put that lol.
the small, narrow, but tall space will be the command buttons 
remember, RoK v1.0 Alpha doesnt include stamina, hp, magic bars, so im not including them on this version of the skin.

lol, as far as the v1.0 Alpha version goes, yes, bottom right, as well as the stamina numbers. however, nightmist doesnt have the 'Ready' & 'Exhausted' words, so i will have to stick to just stamina numbers. I was really suprised when they added the status bars, and they added channel selection buttons to choose from normal chat/clan chat/system messages/Pages

as you can see, its started to look less and less like the Realms of Kaos screen, because RoK uses tabs in the statistics section, and nightmist is 'all on screen' display.
None the less it looks better than most skins ive seen on nightmist lol, not just because ive made it, but because most of the skins dont really depend that much on set background images, making it so the buttons can flow when maximised. BUT! i have yet to adjust a few more things, then add the Equipment stuff to that empty space!
