at 10/7/03 time for at my house which is america me and friend keep geting log There are 66 characters online, (42 users). that was after i loged and got right back on There are 124 characters online, (81 users). thats a minute or 2 after i last did a who There are 163 characters online, (94 users).thats about 2 seconds after my last checked....this is starting to happen alot and i mean alot i know that alot of people will get mad at what i am about to say infact i hate the idea my self but i think it would be best if people were limited to only like 4 alts or something at a time i mean i see alot of people with like 10 alts on at a time and not many users and then every one laged but with less alts and more users i dont lag as much not sure why and might not be the same for every one else but plz if you think i am somewhat right or you think i am wrong say so on forum

Same with the doubling of crits online in a matter of minutes, most likely you came on just after a mass boot.. did a /who and saw few, a couple minutes went by everyone had logged back on when you did the second /who.
The server has been kinda tempermental lately.. to the point I don't care to go on a journey to a big boss for fear that I will make it there, be halfway through the fight and get booted (again).. sending me back to local, and possibly killing a few crits in the process since they seam to stay on for a good 20 seconds after a boot sometimes. Those who power train also beware, when the server crashes, the npc's reset back to their normal gold, so if they had any of your's you can kiss it goodbye.

maybe its cause ppl play nm from all over the world and a lot of ppl have several alts on at the same time is there even a limit to the amount of alts you can have on at once that may help with the bandwith and lessen some lag
