Staff not being bothered/not comeing??

ok, last night i did a trade without staff, you lot are probably sayin, "ur stupid then" BUT! me and the person i was trading with, yelled for staff, a few times, and staff did not come, dispite them being online.
I did the trade without staff there (because they could not come) and oh what a suprise, the person i was trading with lied about the stats, and instead of having a 5stat like he said, i ended up with a 4stat crit, with 13 wisdom. and now, he wont trade back this would never have happened, if staff had of come, it would have been ok if they had yelled back sayin something like "hold on a second Genocide, we are busy
rite now, be with you in a second" then fair enuf i would of waited, but when they said nothing, and didnt come, and i was ripped, i was fairly annoyed just say that.!
EDIT: Oh sorry i forgot, seing as stealing in nightmist is now a part of the game, maybe u are letting this happen aswell?

Um..Was there staff online at the time if you did /who?If not then theres your answer.Staff have lives believe it or not.They aren't on 24/7 lol

ya there was staff on at the time i no this becase
1. a Mosh had just finished the second we paged them, and 2. i got quite annoyed wen i was ripped so i yelled sumet i shudnt of and i got banned so there must have been staff on to ban me!
u think i dont know staff have lives but when they are actually online and just ignore me!

well it's stil lyour fault for not deeling with staff around but i do agree that it would be nice if staff would jsut let you know they were bussy and you have to wait for a while

Ok, its my fault so i aint gonna complain, but it also staff fault, i know that staff aint bein paid for nothing so they dont hve to do nethin in theory, but a little manners never went a miss

i ae never herd a staff tell some1 when they are busy, they just ignoed me.

Genocide, you said the reason you knew staff was on is because you started swearing a couple of minutes after the trade and JLH banned you.
How do you know he didn't just log on right then?

In staff defense they dont have to stay on to run the mosh, just be on to start one.

That was just the other reason he gave, I missed it the first time over, only figured she may have as well.
As far as doing a /? that doesn't mean a thing anymore. I was in the Barracks last week, Pandilex was running arround, and yet when I did a /? there was no staff on.
Having +I is a nice thing, but sometimes it isn't used properly.

The thing i never understode, is i have seen several time that i have seen staff on there crit hanging out at southgate or makeing yells. Yet when i do a /? no staff is on, and when i try to yell for a little help i got none.

Currently there aren't enough staff members. Although JLH says no new staff will be hired because of an automatic trading system being put in soon, I still see flaws with not having enough staff. People who curse openly now get turnipy, when you warn them about language they laugh and say "there's no staff online anyway" and thieves abuse the lack of enough staff for cheating.
The few staff members left have plenty of work to do, with the constant demands for moshes, developing their areas, watching trades and investigating complaints about misbehaving children.
I am sure that no staffer purposely ignores people. Along with the cloaking they have the option to turn off receiving yells, and that for a good reason. If a staff member is in the middle of developing an area or running a mosh, seeing the yells from all the people in the game seriously can disturb the work they are doing.
JLH may not think it neccessary to hire more staff, and once the automated trading system is put in, it may be true, but until this happens, I seriously think that more staff is needed, simply so the current staffers don't get overworked. There is no way that 6 people can be on 24/7, run moshes, make areas, monitor trades and keep the chat clean all at the same time.

More isn't always better. And even if more staff were hired.. once the trading system is in place that staff member wont be needed anymore. I don't think they need any more staff. People just need to realize that they need to wait for staff to come online. If people had just a little more patience and would hold off on a trade I'm sure that there would be a lot less complaints about it. Accusing staff of ignoring players is bs though. If they are busy, they are busy. They're trying to further the game for us all and no one is being appreciative of that effort anymore.
Maybe until the trading system is in place, staff should uncloak just a bit more. Maybe even designate shifts for monitoring trades or something. The staff range in their timezones and maybe if they all announced when they will be available (and uncloak during this time) it would help make trading more efficient and safer. It might be more difficult, but if the trading system is in progress, it wouldn't hurt for a little extra effort by the current staff to aid this way until the system is ready.

Particular staff do bother & have time, when their using their power to aid their alts in game... The inccident Direwolf is talking about happened to me... I was on my alt Vixen in the museum when it happened & had cast Justice zone to protect someone, while he was AFK in the bathroom... this is the pages I got...

And as I clicked on mana to fill it, it vanished as quickly, even the mana I got from the person I was protecting.. after offer tribute in the total of over 3k to keep it filled & going to JLH's msn to complain did it stop.....

At that point I talked to my brother ( Oz ) & he told me to do a /who on both crits Kalypso logged on Zephie within 4 minutes, I showed this to JLH before I closed msn with him..
So, particular staff is on, just to busy harrassing players not of her liking... But like they say, " there's always a bad apple in every bunch.."
P.S.
I'll proably get banned for life, if I do, remember I wuvs yous all even the bad staff.....
