Ok, what is the point of this place?
For those who don't know, this cash office is located south of the NM North Bank...
It allows you to buy these Gold Money Orders, that have gold value. (5,000 Gold Money Order, 10,000, 25,000, 100,000, 500,000..)
Say you buy the 5000 Gold Money Order (for 5k) you get the item, then you just sell the item back for 5,000... the same you paid for it.. It's pointless.
Good gist, perhaps.. Any know!?

You can put them on the site for trading or something.......so you can't get ripped off. Pandilex's idea of a trading system is what JLH said...all i know.

Maybe its for when ur training crits in Sarka for example and u have no money left to buy pots, so ull log on another crit (back in NM) buy some of those and put them on the site for like 1 gold, and then buy them (just be fast so noone else sees it and buys it first  )

The better way of doing that is to sell a crappy item for a large amount on the crit that has no gold. No risks that way.

I think it may be for a new trading system, not totally sure though. I think I heard somewhere that Pandilex was developing a new way to trade (not this) so maybe this has something to do with it  * Harath shrugs

What I don`t understand is why someone would complain about somthing so simple. This is a money order not the reduction of the damage caused by Devestate. If you don`t like the addition just don't go north/south depending on the bank you are in. I can`t see were this has a negative impact on the game in any way.

Well i've heard about a new trading system. My thoughts are amybe it will be like something in diablo where a trading menu of some sort coems up and you put your items in and they put their items in and then you both agree and then the trade is complete safely. Maybe it will be similar to this to save time of staff for trades and maybe the money order is needed because the trading system will invovle only items so you would need money in as an item.....
I really have no idea but that is just a thought that i was thinking might be the purpose of them...

Now that seems like a pretty good idea. Instead of the box in the bank coming up with withdraw or deposit. It could say purchase money order and you enter the amount. With the current amounts avalible it shouldn`t be hard to get the amount you need to make a trade if this is the intentions of the whole thing. You would just have to buy a few if you came up with a crazy amount like 155K for a trade.

I'm glad i actually read the post otherwise i'd have just copied what momba said....if a player wanted to hide the ammount of gold they had...they could buy money orders..and keep them in a vualt or something..that way people couldnt look them up to find out who has enough gold to buy stuff and such.

Then wouldn't it make sense to not limit people by specific amounts.. And to allow them to make any value Money Orders they like?
