Race to Arch

I thought since Pacifist can`t be pked we might have a little fun with this leveling to arch thing. Pacifist seems like the perfect class to do this because even a n00b like me has a chance to win unlike most NM events. What I was thinking is we might find a really cool staff to hold gold for us. Each person who decides to take the challenge would put 10K in the pot and the first person to arch would win the pot. The person making arch would upon leveling memo the staff holding the gold with thier level up and cha ching. I think 10K is a resonable amount because even most new players can come up with that pretty fast. We could even go so far as to have a high rollers pot that the vets can put up 100K. 10K 50 crits=500,000 100K 50 crits=5,000,000 (halyway to a colbalt) Do we have any staff willing to hold gold?

Momba you know i always agree with you but i cant agree with this one. It would kind of be tanted. People would be training these 10 hours a day and the reward is way to high.

But some people train that amount as it is, and you would have to pay to play. I like the idea; anything that raises competition in a fun way is a good thing if you ask me. Why not have first, second and third places if peeps feel the stakes are too high.

| There are some advantages for those that don`t want to be involved. Concidering that Pacifist can't form or join a party this would mean that alot of people will just be using 1 alts thus creating less lag for those that want/choose to take advantage and train a larger group of crits. I like Piles idea about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Nice

The only thing this would prove would be who shares with the most amount of ppl, the winner would surely be someone who shared the responsibility of training it with a few other ppl.

Who cares if it doesn’t prove anything, its not meant to. This is a bit of harmless fun that you can choose to participate in if you feel so inclined. And does it really matter if somebody who shares wins? We all can see the odds and determine our own chances of “winning”. Personally I will not come close to winning since I haven’t the time or determination for such a tedious challenge. I will still participate though because it’s a bit of light-hearted fun and I think at times this community lacks that.

5 people from a clan share the responsibility of training it = 1 million gold each from paying 20k each entry

| 1st 2nd 3rd There would be 3 pots. I think it would work out pretty good if 1st place got 60% of the total pot 2nd 25% and 3rd 15%. This would give everyone a pretty good shot at winning if not first place, then atleast something.

I may consider running something like this after discussing with Pandilex. I am home for summer from Monday 16th June, whereby there will be a Pacifist update to finish them off and therefore testing can be completed. Then before the following weekend, they should be playable.
