I was wondering, is it REALLY necessary that we see that other people are hungry and or thirsty, I find it highly annoying having a screen full of crap like:

Angel is hungry.
Angel is thirsty.

Please make it a personal deal, we don't wanna know about it.

It is annoying I agree. However if you are hungry or thirsty wouldnt you want people to know, so a Druid could refresh you. Which also I think is the point of it.

I agree with Deval - if you're hungry/thirsty, tell the druid (not like anyone else would instantly know anyway).

Lmfao...angel.... hehe i nourish him whenever i see him. ^.^

And I normally nourish people sitting on the square with me that are hungry/thirsty (unless I'm afk) because it just really annoys me as well to see it.

Personally I also feel it is a waste. Just if your hungry/thirsty, tell someone. I hate being in a square going afk for like 10-20 minutes and coming back to 'Blah' is hungry a thousand times. Maybe it should be just kept to the player that is hungry?

If I remember correctly someone awhile back suggested that it only tells you once that your hungry and thirsty, maybe this would solve the problem and you wouldn't have to see a thousand so and so is hungry and thirsty

I doubt that'd work.. if it'd only tell ya once.. you could easily go afk.. not see it.. come back.. and you could easily die from it... by not noticing it. You should always feed your crits before leaving town though.. just be sure you have a healer or something when leaving for a long period of time.

Seeing this repeatedly does get highly annoying.. specially when in a party.

My support for this was in another thread already. Let only the person who is actually hungry or thirsty see the message. That way they can still ask for nourish if a druid is present, and if not it won't annoy the other players. The other thread mentioned severe scrolling at a boss caused by a party of 30 hungry crits, and I can see how this gets annoying.

I completely back making it only tell the person that they are hungry/thirsty, not the square. When you have really big parties and are out training, it lags you up Really bad when it has to load each persons hungry/thirsty. Think 30 people, thats 30 lines. To much lag it causes, take it out! hehe

60 lines even Medora.

I support this. If you leave your crit afk and clog up the game, you deserve to die.

Im for the not showing the square personal hunger/thirst messages, but other players also should have a way of knowing if a player is dying of hunger/thirst. So I suggest adding yet another "status" effect to show up in a players /look profile.

Example.
Exotic_Dancer is a Female Half-Orc Apprentice Berserker. She looks extremely strong, witty, fast, and average looking. In one hand she holds an Oak Staff and he has been slightly wounded and is hungry.

This way players would still have a way to tell if someones dying from hunger/thirst, and we wouldnt have the annoying scroll messages.

I think it'd be nice if it was a toggle command. Then if a nourishing happy druid wants to see who's all hungry and thirsty 24/7 he/she can nourish and be scrolled as much as their lil hearts desire..but I really support the idea of stopping that annoying hunger and thirstyness!

Lol exactly what I was thinking...

Zylia is a Female Halfling Archmaster Thief. She looks strong, wise, extremely fast, and sexy. In one hand she holds a Dagger of Spirits, the other a Steel Bracers. She is wearing a Concealing Petal Armor, and a Feathered Helm protects her head. Around her neck sits a Silver Amulet. She is wearing a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, a Claddagh Ring, and Spider Gauntlets on her hands. Her feet are protected by Crocodile Skin Boots. She is a member (-= K¡tt¥ Kåt =-) of FaLLeN AnGeLs and she is in a healthy condition. She appears to be famished and thirsty.

Something along those lines would be better than the scrolling lines of '<name> is hungry'. Toggle command would also be cool.
